Electric Social Impact Coordinator

As an Electric Social Impact Coordinator at Travel-UKCabServices, you will lead initiatives aimed at leveraging our electric vehicle (EV) fleet to drive positive social impact in communities. Your role is instrumental in aligning our sustainability efforts with community engagement and development, fostering partnerships, and promoting awareness of the benefits of electric mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, nonprofits, and local government agencies to identify opportunities for collaboration and community engagement. Organize community events, workshops, and outreach activities to raise awareness of electric mobility and its social benefits.

  2. Electric Vehicle Education: Educate community members, stakeholders, and the general public about the advantages of electric vehicles, including environmental sustainability, air quality improvement, and energy conservation. Provide information about EV technology, charging infrastructure, and government incentives to promote adoption and usage.

  3. Equity and Accessibility: Advocate for equitable access to electric transportation solutions, particularly in underserved and marginalized communities. Identify barriers to EV adoption and work with stakeholders to address challenges related to affordability, infrastructure availability, and awareness.

  4. Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate partnerships with organizations and businesses that share our commitment to social impact and sustainability. Collaborate on joint initiatives, sponsorship opportunities, and community projects that promote electric mobility and benefit local communities.

Measurement and Reporting: Track and measure the social impact of our electric mobility initiatives, including metrics such as community engagement, EV adoption rates, and environmental benefits.   7. Sustainability Integration: Integrate social impact considerations into our overall sustainability strategy, ensuring that our electric mobility initiatives align with broader goals related to environmental stewardship, corporate responsibility, and community engagement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, sustainability, social sciences, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in community engagement, social impact, or sustainability-related roles.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
  • Passion for sustainability, social justice, and community empowerment.
