Safety and Compliance Officer
As a Safety and Compliance Officer at Travel-UKCabServices, you will be responsible for ensuring that our transportation services comply with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

Accident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses involving company vehicles. Analyze root causes, identify contributing factors, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Liaise with insurance providers and legal counsel as needed for claims management and resolution.
Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, including inspections, training sessions, accidents, and compliance documentation. Ensure that all required documentation is up-to-date, organized, and readily accessible for audits and regulatory inspections.
Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans and protocols to address potential safety hazards, natural disasters, and other emergencies. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, such as drivers, dispatchers, and local authorities, to ensure a coordinated and effective response.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in safety management, transportation management, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant experience in safety management, regulatory compliance, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
