Fleet Manager
As a Fleet Manager with Travel-UKCabServices, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our vehicle fleet to ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency. You will be responsible for managing vehicle maintenance, scheduling, procurement, and regulatory compliance to support the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Maintenance: Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections for all vehicles in the fleet. Ensure that vehicles are well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.
Scheduling and Dispatching: Manage vehicle schedules and dispatching to optimize fleet utilization and meet customer demand. Coordinate with drivers and other staff to ensure efficient deployment of vehicles and resources.
Procurement and Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement of new vehicles, parts, and equipment as needed. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring the fleet remains adequately stocked and equipped.
Driver Training and Compliance: Develop and implement training programs to ensure drivers are properly trained on vehicle operation, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Monitor driver performance and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about industry regulations and ensure that all vehicles and operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements. Maintain accurate records and documentation to demonstrate compliance to regulatory authorities.
Fleet Performance Analysis: Analyze fleet performance data, such as fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and vehicle utilization rates, to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Develop strategies to optimize fleet efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans to address vehicle breakdowns, accidents, and other unforeseen incidents. Ensure that drivers are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to handle emergencies effectively and safely.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in fleet management, transportation logistics, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and tools.
